Obituary

Alfred I. Haberman, son of the late Esther and Herman Haberman, passed away on December 1, 2024. Born on April 26, 1933, Alfred graduated from Holyoke High School and Nichols Junior College in Webster, Massachusetts. He served in the Army, spending most of his term in France.

Alfred was the owner and operator of "The Economy Insurance Co." for many years, serving the communities of Holyoke and Springfield. From a young age, he was an avid ham radio operator, connecting with people around the world.

He is survived by his sister, Toby Rubin of Salisbury, Maryland, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his three brothers, Donald, Harold, and Morton.

Burial will take place at Rodphey Sholom Cemetery, Pendleton Road, Chicopee, Massachusetts, with graveside services on Wednesday, December 4, at 10:00 AM.
