Alice Mary Archambault, 89, was called safely home on Saturday, September 5, 2020. She passed into eternal life at Heritage Woods Senior Living Center surrounded by her loving family. Alice was born in Holyoke on February 25, 1931, a beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Lucinda (Dube) Mailloux. She was raised in Easthampton and lived there for many years before moving to Holyoke, Westfield and finally settling in South Hadley. She was last employed at ServiceStar in Westfield. During her retirement she volunteered at the South Hadley Council on Aging. Throughout her life, her favorite pastimes were spending time with family, crocheting, knitting, and beading. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in South Hadley where she was a member of The Ladies Guild. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Marcel Archambault, her beloved son, David Archambault, her loving daughter Donna Crawley, and her life partner for over 20 years, Edmond Robert. She leaves her daughter-in-law, Jeanne Archambault of Chicopee, son, Daniel Archambault of Springfield, her two daughters, Denise Archambault and her husband Stephen Paljieg of Newport Beach, CA and Dorene Archambault and her wife Sherrie Camosci of East Granby, CT, and son-in-law Vincent Crawley; her five cherished grandchildren whom she adored, Eric Archambault and his wife, Leslie, Karen Newsome, Alex Crawley, Devin Crawley and his wife, Ashley, Elizabeth Verdaguer, Andrew Verdaguer, along with her three cherished great-grandsons, Kadan Newsome, Mason Archambault and Luke Archambault, sister-in-law, Germaine D'Astous of Easthampton, Caren and Richard Mills and many friends and extended members of the Archambault family. A private funeral will be held with burial in Precious Blood Cemetery in South Hadley. The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Theresa Bollea and all of her staff at Heritage Woods who so lovingly cared for our mother these past few years.
