Ann M. (Donahue) Chicoine, 65, died Sunday May 21st at home. She was born in Holyoke and was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Motroni) Donahue. She grew up in South Hadley and graduated from South Hadley High School. Ann worked as a waitress in her younger years and later worked at the Base Exchange at Westover. She also worked a secretary for many years. Ann loved her purses and her cats, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She leaves her husband Denis Chicoine of Chicopee, two sons Louis M. Chevalier of Chicopee and Joe Lavoie and his wife Theresa and their children Eleanor, Asher and Eden Lavoie all of Indian Orchard, her daughter Sara Jeannette Chevalier and her children Brian, Cianna and Arianna Velazquez and Ty'ser Matthews and her sisters Susan Wytrych and her husband Edward of Feeding Hills and Karen Martin and her wife Rebecca of Grapevine, TX. The funeral will be Friday May 26th starting with a calling hour from 1:00 to 2:00pm at the O'Brien Family Funeral Home, 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley, MA followed by a funeral mass at St. Ann's Church in Chicopee at 2:30pm.
