FN Austin Michael Whalen of the United States Coast Guard, Station Miami Beach, FL, Passed away May 8th, 2020 at the early age of 24. Austin was born on January 19th, 1996 and grew up in the town of Monson Massachusetts. He was fun, loving, and down to earth. Everyone that knew him would say he has the best laugh and a personality that could put a smile on anyone's face. Austin was truly a one of a kind person. He excelled at anything he put his mind to. Some of his favorite hobbies include but are not limited to racing cars, python hunting, snowboarding, bodybuilding, fishing, and skateboarding. With Austin's many skills and abundance of knowledge most would say he's lived many lives. You simply cannot sum Austin's life up in a few paragraphs. Between his achievements, goals, hobbies, and personality you could write a book. Anyone who knew him referred to him as a badass. Anyone who knew him knew how special he was. Anyone who knew him knew how lucky they were to be a part of his life.
