Barbara Jean LeDuc, 68, of South Hadley, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her family after a courageous battle fighting cancer. She was born in Holyoke on July 25, 1958, the daughter of Phyllis B. (Boehm) LeDuc and the late Richard J. LeDuc.

Barbara was a talented and creative individual who enjoyed drawing, painting, cooking, and collecting recipes. She could never pass up a good bowl of clam chowder! She had a special love for birds and enjoyed spending time watching sports, classic western movies, and the Weather Channel making sure we all were aware of any storms heading our way. Above all she cherished time spent with her family making crafts and enjoying a good game of Crazy eights. These simple pleasures brought her happiness and created special memories that her family will hold close to their hearts.

Barbara leaves behind her loving mother, Phyllis B. (Boehm) LeDuc; her siblings, Richard W. LeDuc and his wife Lori of Chicopee, Suzanne Englaish Lachowetz and her husband Jeffrey of South Hadley, Debi LeDuc of Florida, and Jeffrey LeDuc and his wife Nanette of Texas. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, and close family friends who will miss her dearly.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery in South Hadley.
