Betty Jane (Jarvis) Quinlan, 91, died Friday October 7th at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. She was born in Burlington, VT and has lived in Granby for over 70 years. She was a graduate of the former South Hadley Regional High School in 1949 and loved knitting, sewing, camping, fishing, dancing and music. She was predeceased by her husband Francis J. Quinlan in 2018 and son-in-law Paul Laramee in 2019. Betty leaves her six children Deborah M. Laramee of Granby, Daniel Quinlan and his wife Cynthia of Southampton, David M. Quinlan of Springfield, Douglas F. Quinlan and his wife Karen of Granby, Drew T. Quinlan and his wife Kathy Rogers of Granby and Darlene Brunetti and her husband Stephen of Granby, 13 grandchildren Dawn, Michael, Nicholas, Cara, Holly, Daniel Jr., Charlene, Tricia, Christopher, Samuel, Bethany, Brandon and Nathan and 14 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be Saturday October 15 th at 11 am starting with calling hours from 9 – 11 am at the O'Brien Family Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St. South Hadley, MA 01075 followed by burial in West Street Cemetery, Granby.
