Bruce W. McDonald, 82, died Sunday April 27th. He was born in Holyoke, son of the late James and Muriel McDonald. Bruce graduated from Chicopee High School, class of 1960 and has lived in Granby since 1972. He served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War in the 3rd Marine Division, 4th Marine Regiment Snipers. Bruce retired from Avery Dennison after working there for 44 years. He was predeceased by his wife Carol A. (Wegman) McDonald in 2004 and his brother James in 2023. He leaves a son Robert B. McDonald and his wife Wendy of Belchertown, daughter Christina McDonald of Ludlow, brother Donald McDonald and his wife Sue of Indian Orchard, a granddaughter Karina McDonald and grandson Elijah Cintron. Calling hours will be Wednesday April 30th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the O'Brien Family Funeral Home in South Hadley.
