Carol Blanchard

South Hadley – Carol A. (Stawasz) Blanchard, 72, died Christmas day surrounded by her loving family at home. Carol was born in Holyoke and has lived in South Hadley all her life. She worked in the Bakery Department of the Food Mart Grocery Store for many years. Her husband Paul Blanchard died in 1989. She leaves three children Cherie Blanchard, John Blanchard, Robert Blanchard and his wife Gwen; a stepson Gary Blanchard; a brother Richard Stawasz; five grandchildren Heather, Krysti, Tasha, Tyler, Caitlyn and a great grandson Kingston. Besides her husband Carol was predeceased by a brother Norman LePage , a stepson Bruce Blanchard, and a grandson Kyle Eichhorn. The funeral will be held at the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley Saturday at noon with burial in Notre Dame Cemetery.
