Carolyn Maria Sears Michaud passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023. Carolyn was born on January 30, 1965 to Joan and William Sears Sr. in Chicopee. She was a graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive, and went on to get a degree in interior design from Cazenovia College. Carolyn worked for many years as a sales representative on the East Coast and met many lifelong friends. In 2018, Carolyn moved to Nevada where she had a wonderful community of friends and family. Carolyn had the biggest heart, and was always smiling and laughing. She was compassionate and kind, and found joy in entertaining all of her dear friends. She loved the beach, skiing, Lake Sunapee, art, volunteering, but most of all she loved her family. She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Carly Michaud of Connecticut, her former husband Michael Michaud, her Mother, Joan Sears, and her brothers, William Sears Jr. of South Hadley, Bryan Sears (Cherie) of Nevada, many cousins, nieces and nephews and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her Father, William Sears Sr. and many loving aunts and uncles. Calling hours will be held Thursday, September 28 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the O'Brien Funeral Home in South Hadley, Massachusetts. A mass will be held Friday, September 29 in St. Patrick's Church in South Hadley at 10:00 am, followed by a private burial.
