Chicopee – Cecile D. Archambault, 90, passed away peacefully on Friday surrounded by her loving family at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Raymond Desnoyer and Rose Martimbeault. She was a passionate cook, and was best known for her love of baking. She also enjoyed keno and trips to the casino. Cecile is predeceased by her parents, her late husband Roger Archambault, who passed in 1990, and her sister Jeannette Winkler. She leaves behind 2 sons; Raymond Archambault and his wife Julie and Bobby Archambault, a daughter Michelle Matusko and husband Jay, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held for Cecile at Curran-O'Brien funeral home in South Hadley at noon on Thursday. Calling hours will precede the funeral from 10 am to 12 pm.
