Charles Benjamin "Chuck" O'Connor, 81, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his beloved wife of 58 years, Jean Mortenson O'Connor, his three daughters, Karen O'Connor and James Ethier, Kristen and Greg Gake, and Kelly Brownlee, the Thomas Carroll family, and many dear friends, including his hiking buddies. One of the great joys of his life was spending time with his grandchildren Travis Bailey, Matthew Gake and Jessica, Michael Gake, and Julia Gake, and his great-grandchildren Madison and Brandon Bailey. A special thank you to the staff of Baystate Home Health and Hospice, Dr. Andrew Fay, Nurse Practioner Theresa Lind, Dr. Mohamed Bajwa and Dr. David Clinton of Holyoke. All services are private.
