Charlotte Frances Emond, 65, passed away on Friday, February 17 th , 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Charlotte was born in Holyoke, daughter of Rolande (Gelineau) and the late Roger G. Emond. She grew up in Chicopee, attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel School K-8 before moving to Granby where she graduated from Granby Jr/Sr High School class of 1975. Charlotte married in 1980 to Mark S. Bristol of South Hadley, with whom she had her two children. Charlotte worked several part time jobs early in life including MassMutual, The Polish American Club, and for Chicopee Savings Bank for 19 years. Charlotte was a loving mother and a very proud "Memere", her grandchildren were the light in her life. Charlotte was a parishioner at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Granby and was devout in her faith. She enjoyed baking, cooking, shopping, and spending time by the ocean; though she was happiest when surrounded by her family, friends, and beloved pets. Charlotte had a contagious smile and a knack for getting others to laugh. She was very personable and couldn't go to the grocery store without running into five people she knew. She held a great rapport within the institutions she served (Chicopee Savings and Immaculate Heart). Charlotte leaves behind a son, Andrew Bristol and wife Marie of South Hadley, a daughter, Stephanie Bristol and her fiance Justin Jaworski of South Hadley, her mother Rolande Emond, a brother, Roger Emond and wife Nicole of Chicopee, and three sisters; Barbara Emond of Naples, FL, Denise Billow and husband John on Pittsfield and Jeanne Emond of South Hadley, her 5 grandchildren; Abigael, Morgan, Allyson, Layne, and Aiden Bristol and 2 ex-husbands; Mark S. Bristol and Joseph M. Pasterczyk. Calling hours will be held for Charlotte at the O'Brien Family Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St. South Hadley on Friday February 24 th from 9:00 am to 10:30 am followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 am at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Granby.
