Christopher M. Rodzen aka "Nitro", age 49, passed away suddenly at home on December 18. Christopher was born on November 9, 1968 in Holyoke, MA to Pamela and the late Ronald Rodzen. He was raised in South Hadley and attended South Hadley schools. He married Mary Corriveau on October 7, 1994. Christopher was a very outgoing man/father who enjoyed the outdoors such as hunting and fishing. He worked his life primarily as a laborer, but his most rewarding job was being a father to his 2 children. He is survived by his mother, Pamela; sister, Carrie; wife, Mary; daughters, Michaela and Gabrielle; as well as his nephews, Dominic and Matthew. He is also survived by many other family members and extended family in Vermont. Family, friends and others whose lives were influenced and touched by Christopher are invited to the funeral home service at Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home on 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley, MA at 12 noon on Saturday January 6, 2018. A calling hour will precede the service on Saturday from 11 am to 12 pm. Burial will take place in the spring. All donations will go to the American Heart Association and Shriners Hospital.
