Craig E. Sonnenberg, 70, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton. Born in Kingston, NY to Colette M. (Manusson) and Albert O. Sonnenberg, he graduated from Hamilton College in 1976 and made many lifelong friends as a member of the Chi Psi fraternity. After college, Craig became a sought after costume designer in Boston for many years, including work with the Boston Shakespeare Company, Theaterworks, and Harvard's Hasty Pudding Theatricals, before bringing his artistic talents to web design later in his career. Craig was a beloved member of the Shambhala Buddhist community where he co-led the LGBTQ group, in Boston and later Northampton, Mass. He was predeceased by his mother Colette M., his father Albert, and his dear partner of 25 years, Chuck Pacheco, who passed in 2006.
