Daniel G. Forest, 90, died Monday at Regal Care in Holyoke. He was born in Holyoke, son of the late Oliver and Alice Forest. He worked as a mechanic for Spector Freight, Consolidated Freightways and Associated Transport. He was involved in the trucking industry his entire life. He leaves his caretaker and friend Cecile James of Chicopee and many other close friends. Special thanks to the nurses and entire staff at Regal Care for the compassion shown to Dan during his stay there. Daniel’s funeral will be Thursday June 25th starting with calling hours at The O’Brien Family Funeral Home in South Hadley from 9:00 to 10:30 am followed by a funeral Mass at St. Patrick’s Church at 11 am.
