Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Pariseau, a beloved brother and cherished friend, who peacefully left this world on July 3, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on October 9, 1958, in Springfield, Massachusetts, David was the son of Eugene Pariseau and Kathryn Macauley Pariseau. He was welcomed into heaven by his parents and his dear sister, Gail Pariseau Allard.

David lived a life rich with love and laughter. He is survived by his loving sisters, Jeanne Anne McCarroll and Mary Kathryn Whitby, who will forever hold him in their hearts.

A proud graduate of West Springfield High School's Class of 1976, David's youthful days were filled with cherished memories of playing street hockey on Ohio Avenue and ice hockey on the neighborhood pond. His passion for sports continued into adulthood, as he enjoyed playing softball and hockey, always eager for the annual Thanksgiving Football game to cheer on his team with the rallying cry, "Beat Agawam."

In 1981, David graduated from Bridgewater University with a degree in Political Science, marking the beginning of a journey that would see him impact many lives with his kindness. He was employed for many happy years with dear friends at Sullivan Paper Company.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Longmeadow ServiceNet for their unwavering support and care.

A service to celebrate David's life will be held on what would have been his 68th birthday, October 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the legacy David leaves behind with a luncheon to follow.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor David's memory may consider a donation to a charity of their choice, reflecting his spirit.

David Pariseau's memory will forever be a guiding light for those who knew him, remembered for his gentle spirit, love of sports, and the warmth he brought to every room. May he rest in peace.
