Deborah A.
Noel
Jan 13, 1957 — Oct 14, 2026
Chicopee, MA
Deborah Noel, Chicopee, born January 13, 1957, passed away peacefully on October 14, surrounded by her friend and sister. As they gathered by her side, her favorite song , “I Will Always Love You,” sung by Dolly Parton, played softly in the background.
Debbie grew up in Chester, Massachusetts, and later moved to Chicopee, where she shared her life with and lovingly cared for her sister, Donna Noel.
A sweet, caring, and loving woman, Debbie touched the lives of so many. She was a huge Country Western fan and loved Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn. She had a memorabilia collection she was proud of. She was a communicant of Lifepoint Church in South Hadley and had a strong Christian Faith.
She leaves behind her two sisters, Donna Noel and Becky Noel, as well as her dear friends Sue Wilson of South Hadley and Kerri Powling of West Springfield, who will miss her more than words can express.
Debbie dedicated over 35 years of her life to working at Shriners Hospital in Springfield, where she formed lasting connections with her coworkers and touched countless lives through her kindness and compassion.
She had a special love for animals who brought her great joy and companionship throughout her life.
Debbie was known for her generous spirit and caring nature. She was the kind of person who would be there for anyone in need, always ready to lend a helping hand at a moment’s notice. Her kindness, warmth, and willingness to give of herself made her a truly special person.
Debbie will be deeply missed by her family, her dear friends, her coworkers, and all who were fortunate enough to know and love her. Though she may be gone from our sight, the love she shared and the memories she leaves behind will remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
“And I will always love you” were the last words she heard.
There will be no public services. The O’Brien Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
