DONALD BOISSONNAULT born in the "Flats" of Holyoke, MA, Died September 13th, 2025, in Holyoke, MA.  He attended Immaculate Conception School and Holyoke Trade High School.   Don worked for The Wall Street Journal in their advertisement department and later in their composing room as a printer. He served two years in the ARMY. Don met and married his pre- deceased wife Angela, a British national in Brasilia, Brazil.

Don joined the State Department Diplomatic Service in 1967 and served overseas until his retirement. He was posted to Iran, West Berlin, Israel, Brazil, Russia, Kenya, Syria, and Pakistan. He leaves three sons Stuart, Chris and Greg, brothers and sisters and a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins around the country.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at O'Brien Family Funeral Home, 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley, MA 01075. A funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place after the service at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
