Donald R. Peltier, 87, died Wednesday November 29th in Florida. He was born in Holyoke, son of the late Rene and Jeannette (Messier) Peltier. He grew up in Holyoke, attended St. Patrick's Church in South Hadley, was a member of IBEW Local 7 Electrical Union and was a master electrician and journeyman. He leaves two sons John Peltier of South Hadley and Stephen Peltier of Chicopee, two daughters Donna Bergmann of Clearwater, FL and Mary Whitaker of Seminole, FL, two sisters Joan Theroux and Linda Tenkate and 10 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Donald Peltier. The funeral will be Thursday December 14th at 9:00 am from the O'Brien Family Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St., South Hadley, MA followed by Mass at 10:00 at St. Patrick's Church. Burial will follow the Mass in Precious Blood Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday December 13th from 4:00 to 7:00pm.
