Donna M. (Borowski) Bettro, 62, passed away on Thursday September 16 ^th at home after a long battle with COPD. We find comfort in knowing that she has reunited with her late Husband, Frederick J Bettro. Donna was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Edward L. Borowski Sr. and Therese (Brzoska) Borowski. Donna was raised and educated in South Hadley and was affiliated with St. Patrick's Church. She was predeceased by her brother Edward L. Borowski Jr. and her sister Brenda Rhoades. She leaves her two daughters Alexis Bettro, her partner Jesse Page and his son Brantley  and Elise Bettro and her partner Patrick Recor of Chicopee, her son Frederick E. Bettro and his partner Juliana Keefer of Savona, NY, her twin sister Debra Tarczynski and her husband Wayne of South Hadley, her brother Alan Borowski and his wife Crystal of WV, her Goddaughter Crystal Mattson and her husband Chris of South Hadley, her nephew Douglas Rhoades of Colorado and her grandchildren Olivia and Adam Diemand of Millville, NJ, Haley Wheeler and Chloe Henderson of Chicopee, Maddox, Jaxon and Lenox Bettro of Savona, NY, Stella Recor of Chicopee and Sophia Mattson of South Hadley and her grandpups Jaxon and Gemma. She also leaves behind her Bonus daughters, Nicole Leonard & Emma Sawtelle. Donna was a CNA for many years prior to her illness. She was passionate about caring for the elderly. She had a joy for cooking and was famous for her soups. She loved spending time at the beach, loved Freddy Mercury and making precious memories with all of her grandchildren and just being with her family. Donna will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The calling hours will be held Thursday, September 23 ^rd from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm followed by a funeral home service at 6:30 pm at the O'Brien Family Funeral Home, 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley, MA.
