Obituary

If you were lucky enough to be a friend of Dwight, count yourself one of the fortunate ones. He was an unabashed original. Through all of the health issues he faced, he bravely and with grace, met life's challenges. His inquisitive mind led him to pursue interests in the latest technology, be it a drone flight over his beloved South Hadley or an electric bike ride around town. He had a lifelong interest in photography and was always documenting occasions but never turning the camera on himself which epitomizes who he was as an individual - totally selfless. He was a celebrated gift giver matching person to present, which always made his gifts the most sought after. His love of his four legged friends is legendary. He was a gentleman, a very gentle man. Dwight was predeceased by his mother and father Paul and Eileen Wildman and his brother James Wildman. He leaves his wife, Laurie with whom he enjoyed 44 years of life's adventures. He also leaves his cousin Russell Adams, his lifelong friend John Sullivan, and his many nieces and nephews. We wish to acknowledge the care provided by Dr. Daniel Lage, Dr. Jennifer Shin and the team at Massachusetts General Hospital, as well as Dr. Jeffrey Mulhern of West Springfield.
