Eileen "Ike" M. (Dineen) Pasterczyk, 89, died Thursday at Vero in South Hadley. She was born November 18, 1929, in the year of the Great Depression, to the late Florence and Anna Dineen. Eileen lived most of her life in South Hadley on Canal and Lyman Streets, and graduated from South Hadley High School. She worked at Texon in South Hadley and Russell, part time at Macy's at the Holyoke Mall and was an Avon representative. Eileen is survived by three children, Michael (Celeste), Joseph Pasterczyk and Laurie Wiley, her brother Patrick Dineen and his wife Barbara of Westfield, sister-in-law Carol (Egan) Dineen of South Hadley, eight grandchildren Matt, Amy and Ann Pasterczyk, Fred and Ben Sabbs, Amber Landry, Shane and Will Wiley, great grandsons Emmett, Cooper and Myles Sabbs, great granddaughters Sophia Pasterczyk and Mary Sabbs, and several long-time friends from Texon. She was predeceased by her husband Wladymir J., daughters Heidi Sabbs and Lynn Pasterczyk, brothers Paul Dineen and Mark Kuzma (USMC 1968 in Vietnam, received Navy Cross) and sister Louise Epperson/Ganieany. Eileen loved traveling to Disneyworld with her grandchildren and visiting Mickey Mouse, who shared the same birthday with her. She also enjoyed playing cards regularly. The funeral home service will be Tuesday November 19th at 11 am at the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley followed by a private burial in St. Rose Cemetery.
