Elizabeth J. O’Connor, 62, passed away on January 25, 2026, at Baystate Medical Center. Born on March 10, 1963, in Holyoke, MA, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Richard O’Connor and Elizabeth J. O’Connor, who survives her.

Elizabeth shared a devoted partnership of 40 years with James Fernandes. She leaves him, his family, her mother, and many good friends and loved ones who will miss her deeply.

Elizabeth was a kind and loving soul, always willing to help others. Her compassion and quiet generosity touched the lives of those around her, and she will be remembered for her warmth, empathy, and caring nature.

Elizabeth held a master’s degree in psychology from Westfield State University, an accomplishment that reflected both her intellect and her lifelong concern for others.

She had no children and no surviving siblings. Elizabeth was predeceased by her brother, Dan O’Connor, and her father, Richard O’Connor, who passed away in September 2011.
