Eugene "Frank" Marion, 77, was called home on June 1, 2019 with his loving family by his side. He was born and raised in Holyoke then resided with his wife and soulmate Judith (Zielinski) Marion for 54 years in Granby. Frank served eight years in the Air National Guard and was a faithful communicant of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Frank was a member of the Granby Lions Club for 50 years as well as a past president. Frank donated his time and talent in the remodel and structure of the Granby Senior Center. He was very active within the town, most recently sitting on the board for the ZBA. Frank was the co-owner of the Bakery Box and owner of Frank Marion Remodeling and Contracting. He was a proud father of three girls, Danielle Brosseau and her husband David of Westfield, Vickie Marion of Westfield and Maureen Marion of Chicopee. He loved spending time with his twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Frank was close to all his siblings, his sister Mary Marcel of Holyoke, his two brothers Raymond Marion and his wife Marie of Wells, ME and Fred Marion and his wife Mary Ellen of Granby, along with his late brother Charles Marion and a sister Gail Moynahan of Holyoke. Frank also leaves a brother-in-law Stephen Zielinski and his wife Greta of West Springfield along with many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Friday June 7, 2019 at 9:00 am from Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St., South Hadley followed by Mass in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church at 10:00 am. Burial in West Street Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday June 6, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Any donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
