Frances B. Conforti

SOUTH HADLEY – Frances B. (Kornacki) Conforti, 97, of West Summit Street died Tuesday in Holyoke Medical Center. Frances was born in Holyoke, the daughter of the late Frank and Sophie (Kornacka) Kornacki, and has lived in South Hadley since 1951. She graduated from Bay Path College in Springfield, worked in the office of Graham Manufacturing Company and has been a longtime communicant of St. Patrick's Church. Her husband Lionel L. Conforti and daughter Diane Foster both died in 2000. She leaves three children Edward "Buzz" of Falmouth, David of Marietta, GA; and Cynthia Desmond and her husband Kevin of Nashville; son-in-law Frank Foster, four grandchildren and a great granddaughter. Besides her husband and daughter Frances was predeceased by her siblings John Kornack, Jennie Smith and Helen Skorupski. The funeral will be held Saturday, 9:00am at the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley with private burial in the Massachusetts National Veteran's Cemetery in Bourne.
