Frank J. Skrzyniarz, 83, died Sunday November 6 ^th at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Holyoke, son of Police Chief Frank C. Skrzyniarz and Helen Latka of Easthampton. He attended Sacred Heart School, Easthampton High School, graduated from Hampden College of Pharmacy in 1963 and obtained his Business Management degree from AIC. He worked at Ryan Drug at the Springfield, Chicopee and Longmeadow branches before working at Wesson Memorial and Mercy Hospitals, working himself up to Director of Pharmacy. Frank and his wife were involved as presenting couple in Marriage Encounters and worked PreCana preparing couples for marriage in the Catholic Church. Frank was a lector and eucharistic minister at Mater Dolorosa Church and on the Parish Council and Knights of Columbus at St. Martha's Church. Frank is survived by his wife of 58 years Aline, son David and Amy Skrzyniarz with their children Jonathan, Andrew, Therese, Mark, Peter, Mary, Francis, Brendan, Eileen and Gregory of Dunellen, NJ, daughters Susan Skrzyniarz of South Hadley, Lisa Dinsmore and her husband David of Columbia, SC and Diane Lafond and her husband Ian and son Gabe of Easthampton. The calling hours will be Friday November 11 ^th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the O'Brien Family Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St., South Hadley, MA. Family and friends can meet at St. Martha's Church, 214 Brainard Rd. Enfield, CT on Saturday November 12 ^th at 10 am for the funeral mass. Burial will be private.
