Gary A. Urban, 63, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born August 24, 1957 in Holyoke, MA to the late John J. and Elaine (Courchesne) Urban. Gary worked incredibly hard to ensure his family was always taken care of. His personality was larger than life and he was truly one-of-a-kind. He enjoyed collecting 1-18 Scale Model cars, music, special moments on holidays with family as well as watching his favorite football team, the Washington Redskins. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He leaves his beloved wife Susan T. Urban, his daughter Audrey A. Urban, his loving sister Gayle Ribeiro and her husband Anthony of Holyoke along with their sons Zachary and Joshua Ribeiro of Holyoke, his brothers Edward J. Urban of Chicopee and John B. Urban and his wife Susan of Ludlow and nieces Brittany, Courtney and Madison Urban. He was, is and always will be our beloved husband, father and brother. Calling hours at the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St., South Hadley will be Thursday from 4:00 to 6:30 pm with a closing prayer service at 6:30 pm.
