Granby – George M. Mugnier Jr., 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. George was born in Holyoke, son of the late George and Yvette (Monast) Mugnier. He worked as a truck driver, an installer for Granby Telephone and even owned his own store, Ashley's Country Corner. George was a man who loved to be around people, most notably his family. He enjoyed doing puzzles, playing games like backgammon and cribbage, and spent a lot of time watching his sons in Motocross races or his daughter Ashley on her horse. George is predeceased by his son, Conner Mugnier of Wilsall, MT. He leaves behind his daughter Ashley Shinn and husband Mike of Wilsall, MT; son George (Mike) Mugnier III of Wilsall, MT and children, Hayden, Olyver, and Cash; sisters Dayle (Clark), Donna, and Charlotte Mugnier, all of Granby, MA. Calling hours will be held for George at the O'Brien Family Funeral Home at 33 Lamb St. South Hadley, MA 01075 on Thursday, December 30th from 4-7 pm. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, December 31st at 11am at the West St. Cemetery in Granby, MA. Please be advised that masks are required within the funeral home.
