Obituary

Helen L. Hynds, 100, died Friday December 10 th at Daybrook Village in Holyoke. She was born in Worcester and has lived in South Hadley for most of her life. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church and the South Hadley Council on Aging. Helen loved spending time with her grandchildren and families and doing needlepoint. She was predeceased by her first husband Edward R. O'Connor and her second husband James J. Hynds. She leaves her daughter Arline Laporte and her husband Michael of South Hadley, her son Raymond N. O'Connor and his wife Christine of South Hadley, two grandchildren Nicole Laporte Murdock and Matthew O'Connor and seven great grandchildren Grace, Thomas, Evie, Joie, Riley, Piper and Finn. She was predeceased by her grandson Christopher O'Connor and her granddaughter Michelle Laporte Holden. All services were private.
