James E. Goulet born July 4, 1953. A lifetime resident of Granby Ma, and a jack of all trades moved forward with Amazing Grace from this world to Paradise on February 23,2021. Jim Leaves the love of his life, bestfriend, Soul mate of 42 years Darlene (Belanger) Goulet. Jim was an awesome dad to oldest Brian Goulet spouse Shannon Reberio His youngest Cory Goulet spouse Heather Mansfield. Nicolette Nickless has been the adopted daughter he never knew would fill a spot in his heart that needed to be filled. He was blessed with 4 grandchildren Lexie Mansfield 11, Sebastian Goulet 5, Brantley 5 and Brealyn Reberio 4, All of South Hadley. Jim was a family man that Loved with all he had and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. James is predeceased by his Parents Alphonse and Olive Goulet Of Granby, MA and his recently deceased Favorite Pooch Turner. He was welcomed home to be with his Brothers Ed and Donnie Goulet. James being 1 of 9 kids there was plenty of love to go around. He leaves sister Loraine Wasilewski (Bruce) of Stoughton, MA, Pauline Breyare of Florida, Ronnie and Angie of Granby, MA, Linda Lewis and partner John Taft of Chicopee, Gloria "Gigi" Goulet of Florida and Alan Goulet of Granby. Along with too many nieces and nephews to mention including 4 Goddaughters Kellie, Meagan, Desiree, Megan. Jim's favorite thing to do was to be on the open road riding his motorcycle whether it be a guys trip up north or with Darlene on camping trips. They enjoyed the time they had together seeking adventure and exploring new landscapes. He was an outdoorsman and loved nature. Jim was superbly talented in his craftsmanship and had a uniquely humble personality. He was wiser than he led on, more generous than he needed to be, and was an incredibly kind soul. James graduated Granby high school (1971) and had many jobs to follow, known mostly for his siding business Jim Goulet and Sons. Jim left a little bit of who he was on every homeowner he came into contact with. Last respects will be a walk thru calling hour on Monday March 1, 2021 from 9:30am-10:30am with church service to follow at 11am reserved for close family and friends. Calling hours and service will be held at First Baptist Church, 337 Piper Rd, West Springfield, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Lorraine's Soup Kitchen & Pantry, 170 Pendexter Ave., Chicopee, MA 01013, this is a place Jim & Darlene volunteered for many years.
