Obituary

Jean L. Lacoste, 92, died Wednesday November 9 th at home with his loving family. He was born in Chicopee, son of the late George and Edesse (Bibeau) Lacoste and grew up in the Willimansett section of Chicopee. He built his own home in 1958 with his father and brother in South Hadley where he resided until his passing. Jean was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, a member of the American Legion and the First Congregational Church in South Hadley. He leaves his beloved wife Phyllis (Krumpholz) Lacoste, his son Kenneth C. Lacoste and his wife Marlee of Block Island, RI, daughter Pamela Dalton and her husband William III, of South Hadley, four grandchildren Charles Lacoste and his wife Brandi, Parker Lacoste and his wife Rachel, William E. Dalton IV and Andrea D. Scouras and her husband James and six great grandchildren Charlotte, Duke, Eloise, Amelia and Holden Lacoste and Alexander Scouras. He was predeceased by his brothers Robert, Norman and Leonard "Joe" Lacoste. The funeral service will be Saturday November 19 th at 10:30 am at the First Congregational Church in South Hadley followed by burial in Forestdale Cemetery. The O'Brien Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
