Joan Holloway, aged 92, peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 24th, 2024, at the Life Care Center in Wilbraham. Joan, born in Belchertown to the late Pearle (Dunbar) and William Kimball, dedicated her professional life as a Bank Teller for Woronoco Savings Bank. Joan was known for her unwavering reliability, effortlessly forging friendships wherever she went. Her infectious laughter and quick wit never failed to bring smiles to those around her.
An intrepid traveler, Joan explored the United States, even calling Arizona home for a time. She possessed a diverse range of interests, including card games, painting, stained glass work, crocheting, and an avid reader, earning her the moniker of a jack of all trades by her adoring family.
Among her most treasured moments were the outings to "Wally's" with her sister, Nancy, and the invaluable time spent with her caregivers, Debbie, Heidi, and Tracy in her later years. Joan was preceded in death by her three brothers: William F. Kimball II, David Kimball, and Payson Kimball.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Lance Clark; sister, Nancy K. Bridges of Belchertown; twelve nieces and nephews: Doreen, David, Brenda, Tina, Kenneth, Patrice, Heidi, Tammie, Clayton, William, Morgan, Tracy, and Benjamin; two grandchildren: Cody Clark and Jenni Santerre; one great-grandson, Kyle Santerre; sister-in-law, June Kimball; and numerous other great nieces and nephews.
A Funeral service to honor Joan's life will take place at 11 am on Monday, April 1st, at the O'Brien Family Funeral Home, located at 33 Lamb St., South Hadley, MA 01075. Prior to the service, a calling hour will be held from 10-11 am.
