Obituary

John (Jackie) McIsaac passed away peacefully on September 24, 2022.  John was born in The Bronx NY on June 1,1933 to George and Virginia (Harrison) McIsaac, the second oldest of eight children.  John resided in the New York City metropolitan area until he relocated to the gulf coast of Florida, in 1989 finally residing in Sugarmill Woods in Citrus County, returning to the Northeast in 2018 living in East Longmeadow MA.  John was proud of his service to his country as a paratrooper in the 82 nd Airborne unit of the US Army.  After returning from the Army, John managed various Woolworth stores in NYC.  After leaving Woolworths, John was a sales manager for American Greetings prior to locating to the Florida Gulf Coast and purchasing a Custom Cabinet development and instillation company.  He was proud of his work on the Citrus County Republican Executive Committee as well as his membership in the St Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church Knights of Columbus.

John was predeceased by his beloved wife of 46 years Marie (Kuppler) in 2011.   John is survived by his brother Raymond and sister-in-law Margaret McIsaac, Sister JoAnn Sommer and Brother Dan and sister-in-law Michele McIsaac.  John was predeceased by his brother George, sister Virginia and Frank Pugliese, brother Robert and Betty McIsaac, sister Mary and Tony Pagnanella, brother-in-law Chris Sommer.  John had 18 loving nieces and nephews, and many beloved great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Church service Celebrating John's Life will be held on Friday September 30 th at 11 am in St Patrick's Church in South Hadley Ma.

Burial will be private.
