IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Judith
Jackson
May 11, 1955 – December 1, 2024
South Hadley – Judith Jackson, 69, passed away on Sunday December 1, 2024 with her loving husband, John by her side. Judy was born in Arlington, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Grace (Ambrose) and Edward Jackson. She attended Arlington High School and the Mount Auburn School of Nursing. She married John F. Aronson of Boston in 1979. Together they lived and worked in Boston, Cambridge, Baltimore, Denver, Eugene, Seattle and New Orleans before returning to Massachusetts and settling in South Hadley in 1996. Thereafter, she worked at student health services at the University of Massachusetts and Hampshire College.
Judy is survived by her husband John Aronson of South Hadley, her niece Kari Lessard of Dracut, Massachusetts and her family Kerrie, Jackson and Delany, her step-son John Aronson of Denver and his family, Tara, Sean and Teagan.
Judy was honest, kind, competent, outgoing, optimistic and forgiving. She challenged you to be your best and forgave you if you couldn't quite toe the mark. She will be sorely missed by her husband, nieces, step-son and family and her many, many friends. We are comforted by the thought that she has just gone to a better place.
