Katherine E. (Shea) Suprenant, 92, died Monday March 1 ^st . She was born in Chicopee on October 12, 1928, the daughter of the late Thomas F. and Catherine (Shea) Shea, both of County Kerry, Ireland. She grew up in Chicopee and was a graduate of Chicopee High School. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, South Hadley and was a life member of the John Boyle O'Reilly Club in Springfield. She was predeceased by her husband Charles J. "Jack" Suprenant in 2019, her sister Mary S. Ashe and her brother Thomas E. Shea. She will be missed by her family, daughter Cynthia, her sons David, Robert, James and Steven, her five grandchildren, her great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Friday March 5 ^th starting with a calling hour from 10:30 to 11:30am at Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St., South Hadley followed by Mass in St. Patrick's Church at 12 noon.
