Leonard J. (Lenny) Giannetti Jr., 61

Of South Hadley, MA passed away on Sunday, November 1st. Lenny was the son of Leonard and Joan Giannetti of South Hadley, MA.

Lenny was a long-time employee with the USPS and a Proud Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a die-hard Miami Dolphins fan throughout his life.

Lenny is survived by his son Leonard III and fiancée Amelia of Granby, MA and son Benjamin of Springfield, MA, his sister Lisa of Oxford, GA and brother Tony and wife Melissa of Holyoke, MA.

In addition to his children, Lenny is survived by his nieces Gina, Nora, and Sophia and nephews Finn, Tony Jr, Nico, and Oscar. Lenny also leaves behind Kathy and Michelle, both of whom held a special place in his heart.”

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at O'Brien Family Funeral Home, 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley. A procession will follow to St. Jerome Cemetery in Holyoke for committal prayers and military honors.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to a Veterans organization in Lenny's honor, recognizing his proud service in the United States Air Force.
