Lester Holubecki

1949 – 2019

Chicopee – Lester Holubecki, 70, died Friday in Mercy Hospital surrounded by his loving family.  Lester was born in Siedlce, Poland and came to the United States in 1963 settling in Holyoke MA .  He owned and operated the Royal Furniture Store on High Street in Holyoke for many years and retired from Dreikorn's Baker y in 1994 . He was a lso a member of the Teamsters Union .  He leaves his loving son Jayson Holubecki; daughter Shannon Reeder , her husband John and granddaughter Madeleine Reeder . He also leaves behind his two loving sisters Heidi Wisniewski with whom he lived with and Krystyne Reed and her husband Sam as well as many loving nieces and nephews, whom he was very close to.  He also leaves behind his former wife Donna Holubecki. The funeral will be held at the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley Saturday at 10:00am with Liturgy in St. Patrick's Church at 11:00am followed by burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4:00 – 7:00pm.  For more details please visit curranobrien.com.
