Marguerite (Samson) Quesnel entered into eternal rest on 06-27-2022. Born in Holyoke MA, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Marie (Guilbault) Samson. She was raised in her early years in Holyoke before her family moved to So. Hadley. Marguerite worked at the Whiting Paper Mills Co. prior to raising her family. She attended St Theresa's Parish. Her husband Leonil Quesnel passed away in 2012 and her son Robert passed away 2021. She leaves one son Stephen Quesnel and daughter in law Shelley of So. Hadley, a brother Pierie (Pete) Samson of Chicopee, a sister Marie Moriarty of So. Hadley and many nieces and nephews. Marguerite was predeceased by two brothers Edward Samson and Francis Samson, a sister Lillian Fitzell and a half-sister Claire (Samson) Laflamme. The funeral will be Saturday July 2 ^nd starting with calling hours from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at the O'Brien Family Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St., So. Hadley, followed by the funeral home service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow the service in Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
