Marion Nugent, 91, passed away March 1, 2020 surrounded by her loving family after a short illness. Marion will be remembered by all for her infectious laugh and her dislike of balloons. She and her husband were the proud owners of MarFrans Turkey Farm and Restaurant in Granby for 35 years. After retiring from the farm and restaurant, she worked at Big Y, retiring at age 90. She is predeceased by her husband Francis "Frank" X. Nugent in 2005. She is survived by seven children, Russell Nugent and his wife Paula of Belchertown, Linda Randall and her husband George of Granby, Richard Nugent and his wife Maureen of Granby, Cheryl Ingham and her husband Earl of South Hadley, Douglas Nugent of Granby, Kevin Nugent and his wife Margaret "Maggie" of Granby and Julie Zacharewicz and her husband Michael of Ludlow, her sister Rita Robinson, eleven grandchildren, George Randall IV, Jason Randall, Shawn Nugent, Jeffery Nugent, Ryan Nugent, Taylor Nugent, Colby Nugent, Jillian Majka, Tanner Zacharewicz, Kyle Zacharewicz and April Nugent and nine great grandchildren, Fiona Nugent, Natalie Nugent, Sofia Nugent, Landon Nugent, Keegan Nugent, Owen Randall, Aleksandra Randall, Anastasiya and Kiera Nugent. The funeral home service will be Friday March 6th at 10 am at the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St., South Hadley followed by burial in West Street Cemetery, Granby.
