Mark S. Bristol, 69, of South Hadley, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025, at Holyoke Medical Center.

Born in Holyoke, he was the son of the late Arthur L. "Buddy" Bristol and was raised in South Hadley, where he remained a lifelong resident. Mark worked as a Machine Operator for over 25 years in the Local 98 International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE), where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.

A true outdoorsman, Mark found joy in motorcycles, snowmobiling, fishing trips to Old Orchard Beach, and spending time in nature. Above all, he cherished time with his grandchildren, who brought him endless pride and happiness.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy Fesko of South Hadley; his son, Andrew Bristol and wife Marie of South Hadley; his daughter, Stephanie Bristol of Holyoke; his brother, Arthur "Lance" Bristol and wife Barbara of South Hadley; and two sisters, Liz Sullivan and husband Michael of Belchertown, and Ellen Sullivan and husband Kevin of Ashby. He also leaves three cherished granddaughters—Abigael, Morgan, and Allyson—as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In keeping with his wishes, no services will be held.
