Mary Jane (Blain) Menard passed away peacefully on August 7, 2021 at the age of 100 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl. She was born at home in South Hadley, Ma to the late Adelard and Odile (Labonte) Blain. The eleventh of twelve children she was raised and educated in South Hadley schools. She met the love of her life, Roger Menard and they were married on May 2, 1942. After WWII they moved to Chicopee to raise their four children. The family moved to South Hadley MA in 1967 and then in 1976 they moved to Lake Worth Fl to retire near two of their daughters. Sadly in 2005, her loving husband Roger was called home. She is also predeceased by her daughter and son-in-law Carol and Ray Gould of Lake Worth, Fl and son-in-law Richard Dansereau of Lake Worth, Fl. She leaves behind daughter Connie Dansereau of Ponte Vedra, Fl, daughter Jean Casaday and husband Dr. Floyd Casaday of Indiana, Pa, and son Roger Menard of South Hadley, Ma; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; and a brother, Frank Blain of Greenacres, Fl. There will be a Funeral mass at 10:00am at St. Patrick's Church in South Hadley followed by a graveside ceremony at St. Rose Cemetery on Saturday, September 25. The O'Brien Family Funeral Home will be handling all the arrangements.
