Maureen (Griffin) Brock, born July 3, 1934, originally of Holyoke, Massachusetts, died Thursday, May 29, 2019 about 8 PM surrounded by her loving family.  Maureen was survived by her loving husband Richard Brock, originally of Springfield, Massachusetts.  Together with Richard, Maureen shared fourteen beloved children (William, Catherine, Robert, Kevin, Donna, Kathy, Michael, John, William, Mary, Kelly, James (deceased), Thomas (deceased) Richard (deceased)).  Daughter of Maurice M. Griffin of Castlegregory, IRE and Catherine (Keane) Griffin of Cloghane, IRE.  Predeceased by her sisters Catherine, Eileen, Judy and by her brothers Thomas, Maurice, and James.  Survived by her kind, generous and loving brother Jeremiah.  Also survived by a large extended family all of whom she loved dearly. Known to family and friends by several names:  Mary, Maureen Molly, and Mo.  Graduated second in her class at Holyoke Catholic High School.  A working mother ahead of her time. Emphasized education and the American Dream – with results.
