It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Michael Lee Broadhurst on Friday February 21, 2025, at the age of 56. He was a beloved father and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Michael was born on July 6, 1968 in Norwalk, Connecticut to Lynda Burnham and Louise Wanzer. A 1987 graduate of Ridgefield High School, Michael served in Iraq with the Army and later became a staff sergeant in the Air Force. He had a passion for motorcycles and was an avid hockey fan. Michael is survived by his two daughters and a son. He is also survived by his mother Lynda and his two brothers Adam and John. Michael was a dedicated service member for over twenty years and his passing will leave a hole in our hearts. Funeral services with military honors will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday April 6, 2025 at the O'Brien Family Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St., South Hadley, MA.
