Michelle (Shelley) F. Bail (Hunter), age 69, of South Hadley passed away Sunday September 22, 2024. She was born in Holyoke, MA, daughter of the late George and Marcelle (Rivest) Hunter. Shelley graduated from HCC with a degree as a Registered Nurse. She spent most of her time after college being a stay-at-home mother to her four children. As the years went on she decided to go back to work and make a difference in many children's lives as a paraeducator and covering nurse in the South Hadley school system.  Over the years, she enjoyed reading her library of books, learning about and visiting historical sites and most of all watching her children and grandchildren grow. Even though Shelley loved spending time at home with her husband, she was always up for a quick adventure and her favorite was to go for rides on weekends to Vermont and Mystic.

She is predeceased by her loving husband Christopher (Chris). She leaves behind her four children Matt and his wife Lisa, Laura and her husband Matt, Andie and her husband Glenn and Ally and her husband Jj. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren Zac, Molly, Kyle, Tyson, Judson, Brandon, Guilianna, Scarlette and Georgie. Shelley is survived by her sister Donna and her brothers George and Bruce and leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and very close family and friends. Calling hours at the O'Brien Family Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St., S. Hadley are Sunday September 29th from 3:00 to 5:00pm. Friends and family can meet at St. Patrick's Church, South Hadley at 11am on Monday September 30th for the funeral mass.
