Mickey P. Duval, 69, died peacefully surrounded by his sister Carol and his wonderful caregivers. Mickey was born in Springfield, son of the late Roger Duval and Barbara (Perron) Jackson. He grew up in Belchertown and has lived in Palmer for the past six years.  He worked at Micro Tech for 25 years, retiring in 2014. He leaves his siblings; Carol (Duval) Cierpial and partner Dan Murphy, Stephen Duval, Barbara Turner, Edward Jackson and Renee Seymour. He also leaves Christopher, Bruce and Derek, his nephews. Besides his parents, Mickey was predeceased by a sister Suzanne Maziarz.  Mickey will be missed by J.P., Shirley, Mark, and Pam Sergienko, and his wonderful caregivers.  The funeral will be held at 6 pm at the O'Brien Family Funeral Home, 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley, MA on Friday June 28, 2024. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 4-6 pm.  Memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics Massachusetts on Prospect Street in Chicopee.
