Patrick J. O'Toole died peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, of cancer. He was 82.  Patrick was born and raised in Holyoke, the son of the late James J. O'Toole and Josephine (Popkiewicz) O'Toole. He graduated from Holyoke High School and received his Bachelor's Degree in Economics from American International College.  He was employed at American Optical where he worked in its Scientific Division.  He was credited with his knowledge and instruction using fiber optics in the medical field. Patrick was a humble, soft-spoken man, an avid reader, and enjoyed everything history.  However, he was happiest spending time with his family. He was a member of the Lions Club of Nashua, NH, and served as a volunteer with the Granby Athletic Association. Patrick leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Susan (Adams) O'Toole, two children; Brian and Elizabeth, three grandchildren; Maggie, Jack, and Sam; nine nieces and nephews, 18 great-nieces and nephews, and four great-great nieces and nephews.
