Obituary

Pearl Ann Rogers, who always preferred to be called Ann, went peacefully to the Lord on April 29, 2020, one day after her birthday. Ann was a loving woman who never wanted anyone to know her age, but always carried herself timelessly. She is predeceased by her parents, John and Bertha (Guilbault) Fife; her husband William "Bill" Rogers; and her great-granddaughter, Nora Adams. She is survived by her son Robert Rogers of Springfield and his children, Melanie and Daniel; her daughter, Karen Adams and her husband, Robert, of South Hadley; her grandsons, William Adams, and Brandon Adams and wife Amanda; and her great-grandson Taylor Black and great granddaughter Brynn Adams. Ann grew up in Holyoke and was a graduate from Holyoke High School. She met her husband, Bill, at a Halloween party when he swept her off her feet by asking where she had been all his life. They lived primarily in South Hadley where they built a house which she designed. Ann stayed home with her children, doted on her husband, and kept her house as stylish as she was. She is best remembered for her strong-willed nature, her fierce love for her family, and her love for animal prints and gold. Private burial services for immediate family will be arranged at the family's convenience. The Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.  Please visit curranobrien.com for more details and online condolences.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ann's memory to a charity of your choice.
