CHICOPEE – Phyllis B McLane, 77, passed away on Tuesday October 5, 2021. Phyllis was born in Sommerville, MA, daughter of the late John and Charlotte (Young) Fielding. She will be remembered as the old lady who loved all children and animals. She would give anything to anyone she loved. She will carry on through her loved ones for always saying, "No b*tching in the kitchen". She mostly enjoyed her time spent making cookies with the children and playing. Phyllis is predeceased by her parents and five brothers and sisters. She leaves behind 3 generations of nieces and nephews, her husband Louis, 4 amazing goddaughters; Debbie, Shannon, Angela and Alyssa, her brother Larry, and friends who were family. A funeral service will be held for Phyllis on Tuesday at 5 pm at The O'Brien Family Funeral Home in South Hadley. A Calling hour will precede the service from 4-5 pm.
