Pirkko Liisa Kovanen, 80, passed away on Sunday, March 10th, 2024 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. Pirkko was born in Kuopio, Finland, daughter of the late Kirsti (Finning) and Toivo Aalto. She leaves behind her husband, Frederick Sard and sister, Eila Aalto.
