Rebecca "Becky" S. Weibel, 54, died peacefully Monday October 19, 2020 at Jupiter Medical Center. She was born in Holyoke MA. Rebecca was the daughter of late William and Bennie Daly and sister to late Faith and William Daly Jr. all of South Hadley. She graduated from South Hadley High School and was a part of the band as well as played softball all four years and continued to playing on a league for many years after. Becky worked as a special education teacher at Westfield State University. She adored her students and went above and beyond for them. She had a passion for horseback riding and had a deep love for the beach and her campsite in Vermont. Rebecca is survived by her children Kelsey L. Weibel of Chicopee, Albert G. Weibel III, his wife Melissa Weibel, her granddaughter Dani Weibel, who was the light of her life all of FL, her beloved husband Albert G. Weibel Jr. of Chicopee, her step children Melissa and her husband Erik Newhouse along with their daughter Cassidy Newhouse, Matthew and his wife Carrie Weibel along with their children Camden Anderson, Hayden Platten, and Joseph Rich, all of Chicopee, her sisters Jody Daly and her husband James Barna of Westfield, Deborah and her husband Frances Edwards of Granby, Patricia Mcintyre of New Mexico, her In-laws Shirley Weibel of Chicopee, Daniel and his wife Stacy Weibel of Westfield, Ceceil and William Schafer of Chicopee, her best friends Kimberly Sikes and Deborah Burnette both of Chicopee, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. A Funeral service for Becky will be held at Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home located at 33 Lamb St. South Hadley, MA 01075 on Saturday November 7 ^th with calling hours from 11am to 2pm followed by a service to celebrate Rebecca's life at 2pm.
